Legal Information & Counselling seminars will take place within the scope of Legal Information, in cooperation with the International Blue Crescent Foundation (IBC) and Istanbul Arel University. These seminars will begin with legal information sessions, providing legal solutions to the problems of Syrians living in Turkey under temporary protection.
Within the scope of the sessions, the Syrians living in Istanbul under temporary protection, especially in the Sultanbeyli and Küçükçekmece districts, will be informed about the following issues:
- Their rights and legal status
- Registration under the temporary protection and related legislation
- Women's rights and regulations about the prevention of violence against women
- Official processing: Birth certificate and death certificate
- Accessing the legal aid units and the emergency phone lines
- Access to the right of health
- Access to the right of education
- Family law
- Children’s rights and early marriage
- Child labor
- Work agreement and work permit according to International Labor Law
- Lease Agreement within the scope of the Turkish Obligations Code
- Acquisition of the Turkish Citizenship
